At Enterprise and Community Support Company we have done much research, on and off the Internet, to find out what information, facts and knowledge are available about the development and continued existence of prosperous communities.  There is actually little hard knowledge available about this topic, although there has been a lot of theorizing and anecdotal information.

     We have been collecting examples, articles, references and links about topics that are related to the design and maintenance of healthy and prosperous communities.  We are organizing all the information in relation to the following categories as part of a knowledge base we are building.

     The planned knowledge base is of course an ongoing effort that can benefit from as much involvement as possible  We are looking for editors who are interested and willing to work with us in building the knowledge.  We also much appreciate any references and suggestions from all of you.
